We’re delighted to announce that our next event will be led by author and product leader Joe Macleod.
How many sales are you responsible for? How many products have you helped launch? Have you given the same attention to the end? Does it matter?
We create rich, emotional and meaningful experiences to onboard the consumer. In contrast, the off-boarding in a consumer experience is barren of emotion and meaning. This sacrifices consumer action and holds back engagement; limiting reflection and responsibility.
The long term side effects of this can be seen across sectors. Consequences include climate change, industries fined billions for mis-selling and individuals eroding their online reputations.
Joe will talk about his research for his book Ends, which presents a compelling story of society’s distancing of responsibility and why engaging with consumer off-boarding could be the answer to some of our biggest ills.
You’ll walk away from this session with a unique perspective to your work, and to future product development.
