We are delighted to announce that Futureheads has partnered with diversity and inclusion research specialists Versiti to create and implement a bespoke EDI (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion) strategy.
Versiti is led by Dr Marie-Claude Gervais, a leading expert on EDI. A former Lecturer in Social and Cultural Psychology at the London School of Economics, she has more than 20 years of experience leading research programmes for clients that include government departments, global corporations and major charities.
Last year, Marie-Claude hosted a Futureheads ‘Leaders in Change’ breakfast event on the subject of Reframing Diversity, aimed at enabling leadership teams to drive real change both inside and outside their organisations.
Over the coming weeks, Versiti will be working closely with all staff at Futureheads, as well as the founding and leadership teams, on a programme of work designed to deliver an EDI strategy tailored specifically to the needs of Futureheads and its clients. The work will include a review of current EDI policies and approach both within Futureheads and the wider digital recruitment industry.
Futureheads founder Be Kaler Pilgrim said: “We have worked with Versiti and Marie-Claude previously, and truly value their proven expertise and attitude towards diversity. The bespoke strategy will meet the needs of our own business; the insights uncovered will enable us to implement meaningful, lasting change throughout our organisation. This is something that we firmly believe has the capability to positively impact the digital and technology industry.”
Marie-Claude commented: “Versiti is excited to be working with the entire team at Futureheads to identify where they currently stand in relation to Diversity, Inclusion and Equality, where they want to be and to jointly create a roadmap to drive change around DI&E. The process will identify priorities and solutions based on evidence of what works to address structural barriers to workplace equality – both internally and with Futureheads’ clients.”
