We partnered with a high growth product technology business to scale their London software development teams. They were looking to undertake a huge digital transformation, modernise their tech stack and move to a microservices architecture.
To achieve this, they needed to make a high volume of technical hires. To shore up future company growth, they also wanted to outline a robust recruitment process and PSL to maintain a strong pipeline of technical talent for the future.
There were two key criteria:
- Help them hire across multiple technical teams.
- Effectively manage a number of third-party technology recruiters and create a PSL.
We placed an onsite Talent Partner onsite, who was supported by three resourcers back at Futureheads HQ. We fostered close relationships with each hiring manager and the existing talent team to ensure we were clear on where the headcount was needed and what niche skills were required. We then got to work creating shortlists from our networks. To ensure we would be able to hit the aggressive hiring plans, we also identified recruitment partners that could offer support on these immediate hires. Following an interview and negotiation process, we selected three partners, forming a PSL.
With a fulltime presence onsite, we were able to create and conduct first-round qualifications and set up effective methods to manage both candidate and hiring teams to allow for a seamless process.
We made five permanent & three contract technical hires across multiple levels and established a PSL to ensure the company can continue to find the technical talent they need.
In addition, we introduced them to our friends at GeekGirl to help with their diversity programme resulting in their first onsite tech event at their London Office.
