Splunk Security SME / Architect / Consultant<br>London (Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week)<br>6-month rolling contract<br>Inside IR35<br><br> We’re looking for an experienced <strong>Splunk Security SME / Architect</strong> to join a leading organisation in London on a long-term transformation programme. This role will focus on designing, optimising, and migrating Splunk environments to strengthen security operations and improve detection and response capabilities.<br> The opportunity You’ll be at the forefront of a major Splunk transformation, helping to:<br><ul><li>Enhance and streamline use cases within <strong>Splunk Enterprise Security</strong>.</li><li>Drive improvements in detection logic, data quality, and risk-based alerting.</li><li>Lead on migration and optimisation projects, including <strong>Splunk Cloud</strong> and <strong>SmartStore</strong>.</li><li>Integrate <strong>Splunk Enterprise Security with SOAR</strong> to enable automation and faster incident response.</li><li>Provide guidance, training, and best practice to internal teams.</li></ul>About you We’d love to hear from you if you have:<br><ul><li>Proven expertise in <strong>Splunk Enterprise Security</strong> and <strong>SOAR</strong>.</li><li>Strong background in <strong>SIEM migrations</strong> and cloud-based Splunk environments.</li><li>Hands-on skills in performance tuning, automation (Python/Bash/Ansible), and data onboarding.</li><li>A good understanding of frameworks such as <strong>MITRE ATT&CK</strong> and risk-based detection approaches.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical teams.</li></ul>Relevant Splunk certifications would be a bonus but aren’t essential if you bring the right experience.<br /><br /><em><em>We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know.
