This role is a chance to bring your product <br>craft to a mission-driven team and help millions of people connect with Greenpeace’s <br>campaigns, content, and community online.<br><br><br>As Senior Product Manager for Web & UX, you’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and <br>delivery for Greenpeace UK’s flagship web experience. You’ll shape how people <br>discover the organisation, learn about the issues, take action, donate, and stay engaged <br>over time – working at the point where UX, content, fundraising, and campaigning meet.<br>You’ll sit in a collaborative, cross-functional digital team, working closely with UX, <br>content, engineering, data, campaigns, fundraising, and mobilisation. This is a <br>hands-on, visible role: you’ll be as comfortable in the detail of a backlog as you are <br>facilitating workshops, influencing stakeholders, and connecting web work to wider <br>organisational strategy.<br><br><br><br>What you’ll be doing:<br><br><br><br>• Own the web product vision and strategy for Greenpeace UK’s main site and <br>key web journeys, setting a clear direction that balances audience needs, <br>campaign impact, and organisational priorities.<br><br>• Turn strategy into a prioritised, outcome-focused roadmap, with a <br>well-maintained backlog that is grounded in data, user research, and <br>stakeholder input.<br><br>• Lead end-to-end delivery of web and UX improvements: from discovery and <br>problem framing through to scoping, delivery, launch, and iteration.<br><br>• Partner with UX, content, campaigns, fundraising and mobilisation teams <br>to design and optimise journeys that deepen engagement – for example, <br>actions, sign-ups, donations, and supporter onboarding flows.<br><br>• Use analytics, testing and research (quant and qual) to understand behaviour, <br>identify opportunities, and measure the impact of changes on conversion, <br>engagement and experience.<br><br>• Provide digital delivery leadership: evaluating and procuring platforms or tools, <br>working with agencies and suppliers, and ensuring projects with multiple <br>dependencies land cleanly.<br><br>• Build strong, trusted relationships across a matrix of stakeholders, helping <br>teams with different priorities move quickly while maintaining coherent <br>standards and a joined-up web experience.<br><br>• Facilitate workshops, roadmap sessions, and show-and-tells that bring people <br>along with the product direction and make trade-offs transparent.<br><br>• Support and mentor colleagues (for example, product analysts, coordinators, or <br>contributors from other teams) to build product and digital capability across <br>the organisation.<br><br><br><br>What we’re looking for:<br><br><br><br>You don’t have to tick every box to apply, but you’ll bring most of:<br><br>• Web product management expertise – you’ve owned and delivered a web <br>product or major web area, including roadmap ownership, backlog <br>management, and demonstrable impact on UX and conversion.<br><br>• A strong grasp of UX and CRO principles, and experience turning user research <br>and insight into clear product decisions and prioritisation.<br><br>• Audience- and mission-focused product thinking – you’re motivated by how <br>digital products can build relationships, inspire action, and connect people to a <br>cause or community, not just drive transactions. Experience in nonprofit, <br>campaigning, membership, or community-driven contexts is a plus but not <br>essential.<br><br>• Solid digital delivery and operational leadership – you’ve managed the moving <br>parts of complex digital work (platform choices, vendor management, technical <br>trade-offs, multiple dependencies) and can speak confidently with developers <br>and technical partners.<br><br>• Experience working in a matrix / cross-functional environment, influencing <br>through expertise and relationships rather than hierarchy, and navigating <br>competing priorities constructively.<br><br>• Evidence of people and task leadership – directing, mentoring or coaching <br>others, coordinating work, and helping teams focus on what matters most. Line <br>management experience is helpful, but not required.<br><br>• Strong communication, facilitation and documentation skills: you write and <br>speak clearly, structure conversations well, and can create concise <br>requirements, specs, and decision/risk logs.<br><br>• A collaborative, curious mindset: organised, analytical, comfortable with <br>ambiguity, and happy to test, learn, and iterate rather than chase perfection.<br>Working with Greenpeace UK<br><br><br>Greenpeace UK offers a supportive, mission-driven environment with strong benefits <br>and a real commitment to staff wellbeing, learning and inclusion.
