Its a true scale-up feel where experimentation is celebrated in the product team.<br><br><br>What You’ll Be Doing<br><br><br>Lead the retention mission, taking full control of churn reduction, offboarding insight, and maximising repeat engagement using a blend of data and creativity.<br><br><ul><li>Develop overall retention strategy and set ambitious goals for churn reduction and lifetime value.</li><li>Ideate, design, and implement initiatives based on customer interviews, analytics, and experiments.</li><li>Oversee the creation of processes to spot and address churn risks before they become cancellations.</li><li>Analyse churn causes, build robust offboarding processes, and conduct user research to monitor why customers leave.</li><li>Document roadmaps, functional requirements, and vision for all churn and retention features.</li><li>Operate as the product owner in a scrum team, ensuring effective prioritisation, backlog management, and alignment with engineering.</li><li>Communicate successes, learnings, and data clearly to the leadership and the wider team.</li><li>Champion a culture of proactivity and continuous improvement in all things retention.</li></ul><br><br>What You’ll Need If You Want to Apply<br><br><ul><li>A minimum of eight years’ experience managing retention, churn reduction, or optimisation within subscription products—physical goods focus a big plus.</li><li>Solid record of delivering and clearly measuring retention improvements, ready to share past metrics and case studies.</li><li>Experience in designing and delivering A/B and multivariate tests, as well as running and analysing user research end to end.</li><li>Advanced data skills using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Optimizely, with the proven ability to turn insight into action.</li><li>Strong experience with both strategic and tactical aspects of retention, ideally in a scale-up or high-growth B2C environment.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, and an ability to thrive both independently and as an energetic virtual team player.</li><li>Developed business acumen, comfortable prioritising opportunities, identifying trade-offs, and driving commercial results.</li><li>Committed to best practice, data compliance, and collaboration with all parts of the business.</li></ul><br /><br /><em><em>We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know.
