<strong>Senior Product Manager – Healthtech (Contract)</strong><br><br>A people first consultancy is working with a fast-moving healthtech organisation is looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead a critical delivery phase for a new healthcare app, working across private and public health systems. This is a short, intense contract for someone who can drop into a complex domain, make sense of messy inputs, and drive a proof of concept through to launch.<br><br>The contract<br><ul><li>Start: Early January (ASAP preferred)</li><li>Length: 3 months (January–March) with potential to extend</li><li>Day rate: £600-£640 per day (outside IR35)</li><li>Location: Remote (some UK/Ireland healthcare stakeholder timezones)</li></ul><br>We need somone who has this specific domain and project experience. You must have worked taking a healthtech app from product market fit to customer launch in the Uk if you do not have the exact experience you will not be contacted or hear back- apologies this one is niche and on a time crunch so we cannot be flexible on experience.<br><br>The project<br><ul><li>Own product delivery for a patient-facing health app that brings together:</li><li>Private healthcare journeys</li><li>Irish public healthcare touchpoints</li><li>Insurance and claims processes</li><li>Work from existing business requirements to shape and deliver a proof of concept for mid-January, then drive towards a launch targeted for May.</li><li>Collaborate with a third-party development team, internal operational leaders and specialist clinical/tech advisors (including cardiology experts).</li><li>Operate in a low-documentation environment: make sense of fragments, create just-enough structure, and keep everyone aligned on what needs to happen when.</li></ul><br>What you’ll be doing<br><ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery for a critical product stream, turning business requirements into a clear, actionable product plan and backlog.</li><li>Work closely with operations, clinical stakeholders and external advisors to quickly absorb domain knowledge across private care, cardiology pathways, and insurance flows.</li><li>Coordinate with a third-party dev team to ensure scope, priorities and timelines are understood, realistic and focused on delivering a usable POC and then a robust launch.</li><li>Connect multiple systems and journeys, including:</li><li>Public health / national apps (e.g. NHS-style apps, EHR/EHS integrations)</li><li>Hospital and clinic systems (EHR/ERP, including finance modules and queuing/workflow tools)</li><li>Private medical insurance and claims processes (including Meditech-style integrations).</li><li>Bring clarity where documentation is thin: define user journeys, edge cases and acceptance criteria so engineers and stakeholders are confident in what’s being built.</li><li>Track progress against key dates (POC by mid-January, launch by May), managing risks, dependencies and trade-offs openly.</li></ul><br>Experience we’re looking for<br><ul><li>Senior Product Manager with strong experience in:</li><li>Private healthcare apps and/or digital care platforms.</li><li>Public healthcare integrations (e.g. NHS-style apps, EHR/EHS, hospital ERP).</li><li>Insurance and claims journeys, ideally including medical insurance and Meditech or similar systems.</li><li>Comfortable working with third-party development partners and internal stakeholders to deliver under tight timelines.</li><li>Proven ability to operate in low-process, low-documentation environments and still ship reliably.</li><li>Strong communicator who can translate between operations, clinicians, insurers and engineers, and keep everyone focused on the next outcome.</li></ul><br>If you’ve led similar healthtech integrations and can jump straight into a January start, this contract offers a high-impact, well-paid opportunity to ship something meaningful in a short space of time.<br /><br /><em><em>We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know.
