<strong>**London, hybrid, 3 days per week in the office**</strong><br><strong>**£80,000 to £100,000 + equity**</strong><br><br> We’re working with a fast-growing, design-led consumer technology company to hire a Senior Product Designer for its small but highly influential design team.<br><br> The business is building a premium mobile product used by a growing customer base. Design plays a central role in making complex journeys feel simple, distinctive and genuinely enjoyable.<br><br> This role is ideal for a hands-on designer who loves creating beautiful, thoughtfully crafted mobile experiences. You’ll own work from early exploration through to launch, with a strong emphasis on exceptional visual and interaction design.<br><br> <strong>What you’ll be doing</strong><br><br> * Designing polished, intuitive experiences for a native consumer mobile app.<br>* Owning product areas from initial concepts and prototypes through to detailed UI and delivery.<br>* Working closely with product managers and engineers in a small, collaborative squad.<br>* Turning complex information and journeys into experiences that feel clear and effortless.<br>* Speaking directly with customers, testing ideas and using feedback to improve your work.<br>* Contributing to and evolving the company’s design system.<br>* Balancing rapid experimentation with moments that require a particularly high level of detail and polish.<br>* Occasionally supporting brand, marketing or internal design projects when needed.<br><br> <strong>What we’re looking for</strong><br><br> * Senior-level experience designing and shipping consumer digital products.<br>* A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft across typography, layout, colour, spacing and hierarchy.<br>* Strong experience designing native iOS or Android products, with a clear understanding of mobile interaction patterns.<br>* The ability to take ownership, make decisions and move work forward without close direction.<br>* Confidence working across UX, UI, prototyping, testing and delivery.<br>* A collaborative approach and experience partnering closely with engineers and product managers.<br>* Curiosity about AI and emerging tools that can improve the way products are designed and built.<br>* A portfolio that communicates your work clearly and concisely, with strong presentation and layout throughout.<br><br> A graphic design education or agency background would be particularly valuable, but it is not essential. Experience within any particular sector is also not required. We’re much more interested in designers who have created distinctive consumer products than conventional corporate platforms.<br><br> <strong>You’ll enjoy this role if</strong><br><br> * You get genuine energy from refining interfaces until they feel just right.<br>* You see mobile product design as a distinct craft, not simply a smaller version of the web.<br>* You’re comfortable switching between detailed execution and broader end-to-end ownership.<br>* You like sharing work early and solving problems collaboratively.<br>* You can move quickly without losing sight of quality.<br>* You’re happy contributing beyond a narrow job description when the team needs it.<br><br> <strong>Working arrangements and package</strong><br><br> The company is office-first but flexible, with at least three days per week in its East London office. Everyone works from the office on Mondays.<br><br> The package includes:<br><br> * £80,000 to £100,000 salary, depending on experience.<br>* Equity, with some flexibility around the balance between salary and options.<br>* 27 days of annual leave plus public holidays.<br>* Private healthcare.<br>* Enhanced parental leave.<br>* Annual learning and development allowance.<br>* Regular team meals, events and company activities.<br>* Cycle-to-work scheme.<br><br> <strong>Interview process</strong><br><br> 1. <p>Joseph is a Lead UI and Product Design Consultant for Futureheads.</p>
<p>He has a background in Sales and previously worked for companies such as Tesla and JIVR. As part of the Design Team at Futureheads Joseph works across a broad range of clients from small start-ups, consultancies/agencies to big brands, across contract and permanent hiring.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Outside of work, Joseph is a DJ and Music Producer who enjoys cooking Italian food and dancing the salsa!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
