Am I a Futurehead?
We’re not your typical recruitment business. We work hard and get some phenomenal results, but we also openly put our people first.
If you want to work with genuinely nice people who care about what they do (and have a bit of fun along the way) then we might be for you!
Interesting fact: we deliberately don’t have any walls in our office. We argue over the office Spotify playlist, but other than that we genuinely all get on. And, unlike a lot of agencies, we leave the competition at the door. At Futureheads, we are one team – we win and lose together.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into the digital industry, you’re an established specialist, or you’re thinking of a total career change – why not come in for a brew?
Why work for us?
A dynamic digital market
The digital industry is growing, fast-moving and highly engaged with recruitment, yet very skills-short. There is a real need for a genuinely consultative approach – smart recruiters have a clear opportunity to overachieve on billings and enjoy a huge variety of work. Our deep experience in digital means we can help you navigate the market quickly.
A brand and culture you can be proud of
Because we work hard, deliver, add value along the way and do it all without a fuss, we have an excellent reputation amongst hiring managers and HR teams alike. Our ethics, values and reputation wins business and helps you to succeed.
And because we hire the best people, you get to work with colleagues you can trust and truly collaborate with.
Our bonus scheme
Futureheads has a unique bonus scheme which celebrates and reflects our collaborative working practices and culture. Each member of the scheme is rewarded based on both personal and company performance, reflecting their contribution to the wider business’ success through sharing and cross-selling, as well as their own gross profit achievements.
It’s a bonus scheme which engenders trust and collaboration but which also allows consultants to maximise their earnings. Overall, we ensure that your total earnings (including base salary) equate to at least 30% of the gross profit you bill. This rises to 32% for those billing £300k+ and 34% for those at £400k+.
We also ensure that non-billers, including support staff, receive a share of the company’s success, so it’s a truly inclusive scheme.
A smarter way to work
Consultants at Futureheads specialise in a specific digital discipline, building really deep knowledge with a niche network. We hire recruiters who are interested in becoming experts in a field, and help them build really credible knowledge which adds value to our customers.
All consultants run dual desks across contract and permanent as we believe this delivers continuity of service to clients, and maximises earning potential for you. Our collaborative culture means that your colleagues actively contribute to your success, and vice versa. Several heads are better than one!
An award-winning business
We’re passionate about our company culture, so we are delighted to have been to have been named a Great Place to Work in 2014, 2016 and 2018 in the UK small business category, ranking within the top three companies.
We’ve also won special awards for Excellence in Leadership and Excellence in Learning and Development, and have been listed in London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. That’s a great credit to everyone in our team.
A long-term career
We hire carefully, making sure there’s great potential for a long, happy career for every ‘Futurehead’. We take time to understand you as an individual and build your training and career opportunities around your unique strengths. There are a range of career routes available to recruiters including people management, practice lead, super-biller and account direction roles, with clear guidelines around each role to help track your progression towards promotion.
And because we’re ambitious about both growing our existing markets and expanding into complementary market sectors, there are lots of opportunities. If you’ve got a market growth idea, we’d love to hear it.
As our business grows we continue to evolve our staff benefits, both ‘softer’ cultural offerings and more formalised benefits to enhance your overall package.
