We have partnered with a finance website-based business that allows consumers to relate various products, services and markets to each other to find the best prices and value for money. It also provides financial advice and forum platforms for consumers to discuss various issues. This business is part of the FTSE 250 Index and a large business, turning over £300 million a year in revenue.
They are looking for a UX Designer on a 12 month fixed-term contract initially, in order to cover an imminent maternity leave within UX. However, after the 12 month duration, there is a possibility of a permanent position being on offer due to expansion within the UX team. This person will work within UX, closely with UI and Development, to form a cross-platform Digital wing of the business. There are roughly 10 within UX, including dedicated Researchers, and a further 10 in UI/Development so you would be joining an established and growing team.
This person would be responsible for assisting in a large project to replatform their website and make content more accessible and useable for customers. Due to close relationships with Development & UI there is ample opportunity to see the project through various stages and be involved in testing/research as well as Design.
Despite this initially being a fixed-term project, this person will receive a full benefits package including holiday, pension and other benefits. The training provided is also of an excellent standard and you will receive a ‘Freedom pot’ with financial funding to spend on whatever you feel will enhance your job and learning.
