User Researcher (German Speaking)

Futureheads has partnered with an award-winning FinTech start-up that offers finance solutions to small businesses across Europe. They utilise a state-of-the-art automated lending platform which allows their customers to bypass traditional banks and quickly get the support they need.
Since their launch in 2011, our client has grown its presence across Europe, now operating in the UK, Poland and Germany – where they are now market leaders. They have raised over £150 million in VC funding are were recently awarded a substantial and highly prestigious grant from the British Government, in recognition of their commitment to supporting over 50,000 SMEs across the continent.
They have a highly motivated and talented digital team that is based in Central London. They are growing rapidly and in particular, they are looking to hire a German Speaking User Researcher to join their UX Team.
In this role, you will inspire and direct their existing product and lead as they start to release new products during their continuous growth of the German market. They want somebody who is passionate about UX and keen to experiment with new ideas.
As a User Researcher, you will collaborate with product, design, tech, analytics and marketing teams to ensure insights can be translated into practical solutions. Furthermore, you will design and conduct qualitative studies, including field observations and interviews, remote and in-person usability studies for existing and future products.
Crucially, you will need to adapt and innovate on research methods to ensure they are capturing the right insights to help them grow and develop products to anticipate small business needs and expectations.
They exclusively look for people that are smart, humble, motivated and who are always looking to improve. Additionally, you will also need:
- Fluent level German.
- Lots of hands-on experience with exploratory and evaluative qualitative research methods.
- The ability to independently run research projects from end-to-end.
- Extensive user testing experience.
- Equally comfortable in a lab as you are stopping people in the street for remote tests.
- Familiar with quantitative research and an understanding of metrics.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A great team player.
