Currently recruiting a Trade Marketing Manager for one of the nations most iconic childrens media brands, with an award winning digital network and an exciting new childrens and family insight agency there hasn’t been a better time to join.

As Trade Marketing Manager you will report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and communications, you will drive the annual marketing calendar and take the lead on telling the profession services stories across all channels.

The Role

  • Develop and execute all trade marketing campaigns to generate new business leads
  • Own and deliver the trade marketing calendar for all business, delivering PR moments, events and regular newsletters to ensure Beano Studios’ professional services stay front of mind for clients
  • Draft press releases and own relationships with key trade media to build awareness of professional services
  • Develop and execute content plans for trade social media accounts and newsletters to generate awareness of new deals and product launches
  • Own the awards calendar for all professional services, leading the research of and submissions to awards and conferences
  • Develop and run all internal speaker events and submit and brief speakers for external events and conferences. Assist in the development of all promotional materials and presentations for events.
  • Support on drafting key business reports, white papers and award submissions
  • Assist in the creation of all creds and sales decks for professional services
  • Responsible for management of the trade marketing budget
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of Beano Studios and Beano Brain websites
  • Support and attendance at key brand and partner events

Skills & Experience

  • Media contacts across advertising and media trade publications
  • Demonstrable experience of trade marketing and events
  • A creative thinker who constantly brings new ideas to the table
  • A confident and experienced writer with an editorial mindset
  • A strong, clear, calm and consistent communicator – verbally, visually and in writing
  • Adept at building productive cross-functional relationships
