<p><strong>Staff Engineer</strong></p>
<p>This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced fullstack developer to work for a fast growing tech for Good organisation.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The mission is to use their technology skills and experience as to build an AI system that will significantly help the energy ecosystem achieve a net carbon zero score. &nbsp;</p>
<p>In joining the organisation you would be part of a globally distributed team of specialists. The role of staff engineer is a pivotal hire for the team that will help to significantly shape their Carbon Offsetting product through their tech selections, ensuring the highest standards of code quality and as well as mentoring and guiding more junior members of the team.</p>
<p><strong>What we ideally require&hellip;</strong></p>
<p>Strong commercial experience across a variety of programmes and projects within ideally either startups or scaleup organisations where you&rsquo;ll have played a meaningful role in their product and company journey.</p>
<p>Significant experience in full stack development &ndash; backend leaning. With good knowledge of building products in Python (Django) &amp; React, as well as NoSQL and good understanding of modern DevOps practices (using the likes of Docker and Kubernetes). TDD experience would also be a significant plus point.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Experience contributing to tech selection and architecture. As well as ensuring high code quality standards are met. An ability to mentor more junior engineers as well as still being hands on with the code.</p>
<p><strong>Package</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Salary Range &ndash; &pound;100-120k</li>
<li>Holidays &ndash; 25 days plus bank holidays</li>

<li>30min home coding task &ndash; Technical Exercise</li>
<li>Phone screening &ndash; overview of the role in more depth, CV and career run through plus opportunity to ask any additional questions you may have.</li>
<li>Tech Competency interview / Q&amp;A &ndash; Scenario and logic based questions.</li>
<li>HR / Culture Fit Interview</li>
