<p>I'm currently helping out a well-known tech company in their search for a Service Designer who can tackle well-defined problems across multiple projects.<br>&nbsp;<br>They&rsquo;ve been around since 2000 and are all about making life easier during one of the most stressful times. They're super successful, too - they're a FTSE 100 business and one of the biggest tech companies in the UK. Their user base is up there with Facebook, Google, YouTube, eBay, and Amazon!<br>&nbsp;<br>They&rsquo;re looking for someone who has the experience to ask important questions and the commercial awareness and ability to understand business models. This person will strategise how to expand the company's service offerings and use qualitative discovery research and other user-centered design practices to support this important work.<br>&nbsp;<br>It's also crucial that this person is able to help their colleagues develop their service thinking skills and can act as a bridge between product teams and CX. I&rsquo;ve worked with this company for a few years and can say that they value individuals who are not only talented but also committed to making a positive impact by solving significant challenges across multiple industries.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Main Responsibilities<br></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Present and display internal systems to a wide range of stakeholders in a clear and visible manner. Define and organise customer experience requirements to identify opportunities based on their influence and compatibility with business goals.</li>
<li>Assist product teams in creating visual representations of tasks, steps, journeys, services, systems, and ecosystems while considering their interdependencies. Utilise these artefacts to transform observations into opportunities for enhancing services.</li>
<li>To create a repository of service patterns, it is beneficial to extend experience maps to include visual representations of both front and backstage elements of a journey.</li>
<li>Efficiently convey intricate ecosystems and processes across departments to foster a common comprehension between the Internal Systems and Experience Design teams. Regularly and concisely discuss your ongoing work during team meetings.</li>
<li>Work together with the Service Design Manager, Lead UX Researcher, Lead UX Designer, Lead UX Copywriter, and Lead Product Designers to tackle intricate issues throughout the range of products and services</li>
<li>Facilitate workshops with Product teams, Customer Experience teams, and Sales teams based in MK and London by adapting your communication skills. Collaborate with the Service Design Manager and Head of Experience Design to develop ways of working that guide and coach product designers and owners to lead the work even when you're not present.</li>
