We have partnered with a fantastic organisation to resource a Senior UX Designer. The company spans across several countries and are passionate about amazing User Experience Design. The client started as a publishing commodities firm, but with digital becoming a part of our everyday life over the last 15 years they have transitioned their products to digital across a range of services and devices. As an organisation they provide data, analytics and advice to companies and organisations from government to tech companies on chemicals and sustainability. With one of their key forecasts and services focussing on helping companies be more sustainable when it comes to chemicals and energy, making this a positive impact position.
The successful candidate will be embedded within projects working in collaboration with POâs, researchers, technology squad leads and UI designers. They will be leading on the category projects and expected to collaborate across the business, departments and functions to ensure an end-to-end collaborative design approach to the experience.
The design team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the attitudes, emotions, motivations and behaviors of customers to inspire and inform design.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Director of Digital Design who is a UX fanatic and an evangelist of user centered design.
The individual will work across a range of products and work streams, from web to mobile, from legacy software to greenfield initiatives. You will be expect too:
-Identify, validate and solve complex user problems
-Help to define best practice and policy in user design
-Contribute to process
-Collaborate across the business with other teams, ensuring a smooth design process
-Usability testing, and undertaking insights and learnings from researchers and analysts to help drive the product
-Demonstrate work process methods such as user workflows, wire frames and interactive prototypes
-Use data to define testing strategies and KPIs
The client is looking for a candidate that has:
-Practical experience leading teams from deliver across projects
-Understanding of establish best practices and a range of design tools at their disposal
-Experience and coaching other team members
-An expert in defining, clarifying and solving complicated problems in a complex domain
