Senior Product Designer

I am working with an established tech start-up who are looking for a smart Senior Product Designer to join their team. Working in the automotive service space, their product is an app that uses AI to automate a service that would otherwise takes 10x as long and be prone to human error.

Their product has been an initial success and is being used live by a range of different users. With considerable investment and a product that they know works, they are looking to kick on, scale and perfect this product.

As such they are looking for a permanent Senior Product Designer to join their team. As Product Designer of course means different things to different places – their definition is one puts the focus on research and nitty gritty UX. There’d be a big opportunity to conduct research and not just usability testing either. They want this designer to actually get out into the field (when safe to do so of course!) and conduct contextual studies and ethnography, see how the product is really used and feed that insight back into the interaction design. If you can do super polished designs then great but they’re happy to get other people involved whose strengths might lie more in the pixel perfect piece than making that your responsibility.

This is a great opportunity to work on an innovative piece of tech in a super smart team.
