We are working with a software consultancy based in the North East of England who are looking for a Scrum Master to join them. They specialise in building sustainable products for their clients, who are in the public and private sector. The role is mostly remote with occasional travel to the office and/or client site. Clients are mostly based in the North of England and Scotland, so ideally you would be based there.
Personal growth and development are at the heart of the business, with lots of opportunities for new starters to expand their skillset. They are looking for people who are passionate about technology, and want to constantly improve their skills. This is also a good environment for Scrum Masters who can work effectively with stakeholders, and who are keen to bring new ideas and solutions to the table.
The Scrum Master will oversee a cross-functional software team, consisting of developers, UI & UX Designers, and Product Owners. Scrum Masters will promote agile practices and values within the team, and for the wider business as well, empowering teams to be self-managing and autonomous. They will facilitate a transparent and communicative environment and will help to coach the team to increase their agile understanding.
To apply for the role, you will need the following experience:
- Clear experience in Scrum and Agile Deliveries
- Good experience working with stakeholders, in a client-facing position.
- Experience identifying and mitigating risks.
- Previous coaching and mentoring experience.
- It would be beneficial if you have experience with GDS deliveries, and have worked for a consultancy before.
Here at Futureheads we want to create an environment where true diversity is second nature. Futurehead or not, we encourage an open dialogue and we want you to feel able to share your needs to be comfortable and happy.
