Futureheads are currently working with a renowned Media Publisher who are hiring for an experienced Product Manager to join them. The new hire will be joining a brand-new team and will be influential in its growth and the roll-out of a new content product. This role is 100% remote, with occasional travel to the office in London to meet the team if you would like.
The Publisher has a large audience, with offices based nationwide. They value collaboration and innovation and have a large cross-functional team. Although this hire would be the first Product Manager on this team, you would have the support of a much wider network of Product Managers throughout the digital team.
The Product Manager will be one of the first hires for this small team, which will consist of engineers. They will collaborate with other colleagues too, such as Data Analysts, and UX Designers. The team will be focused on building a Content Tagging product helping to make data more accessible for the editorial team.
The Product Manager will have ownership over this platform and will define the strategy ensuring it is aligned to the wider product vision. They will work with stakeholders to understand business priorities, and technical options and will research the market to explore new ideas. The small team they oversee will work in an agile way to trial, analyse an deliver product growth, with the aim of driving audience growth and business success.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the following areas:
- Experience overseeing the delivery of a Content product, ideally content tagging. Any experience in taxonomy or ontology would be beneficial.
- An understanding of data and working on data driven products.
- Experience having strategic conversations with stakeholders and defining the vision and strategy across relevant areas.
