Product Manager

Location: South Oxford

Salary: £60K – £80K (DOE)

Our client, who is based in South Oxford, is an owner-managed, highly successful business in the travel industry, who are going through a digital transformation. They have recently re-aligned their company strategy and are looking to create cool, innovative travel experiences for their customers. In-line with their goals, they are seeking a Product Manager who will improve the experience for the company’s customers across the UK, as well as have a genuine positive impact on the newly forming Product team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to work on their rapidly evolving online marketplace. Reporting into the CPO, you will be working on the new cross-functional team that is responsible for creating and optimising the marketplace platform.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working on the cross-functional team that is responsible for creating and optimising the marketplace platform
  • Driving forward the discovery and delivery for your cross-functional team
  • Experimenting and bringing new features to the market
  • Assisting on defining and meeting OKR’s
  • Managing risks, issues and budgets while meeting tight deadlines
  • Develop an understanding of customers’ needs through direct research and indirect feedback
  • Use A/B testing, analytics and market research, as well as other sources of data, to make informed product decisions

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Experience working on B2C high-volume transactional products
  • Excellent communication skills and understand how to be data informed
  • The ability to collaborate and be an excellent team player
  • Use A/B testing, analytics and market research, as well as other sources of data, to make informed product decisions
  • Ability to build a deep understanding of customer needs
  • Process-driven mind-set and problem-solving skills
  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build products that customers will love
  • Self-motivated and a passion to learn

The ideal candidate will have had experience on B2C high-volume transactional products, be customer focusing and demonstrate commitment and energy. This is a great opportunity for self-starters that are motivated to make a high impact and take on a challenge.
