<strong>How will your role contribute to the client?</strong><br><br>As a new Product Designer, you'll play a key role in the development and success of the businesses new fin tech products. You will be responsible for the product design including user research, user experience, visual design and maintaining the design system.<br>This role requires a hardworking, motivated and deadline driven individual who advocates user-centred design and uses data and insights to inform their decisions. You will be embedded into a development team that has ownership of this new product and are ultimately responsible for its successful launch along with delivering an acquisition journey that works for customers.<br><strong><br>Key accountabilities</strong><ul><li>Conceptualise, develop and craft innovative design solutions for our products</li><li>Develop User Interface designs using knowledge of task flows, functionality requirements, Information Architecture, UI best practice and industry/company native interface standards</li><li>Collaborate with PO’s and development teams to ensure that the integrity of the experience is maintained through launch</li><li>Clearly communicate User Experience principles and design decisions to stakeholders and project team members</li><li>Champion user-centred design and usability principles</li></ul><strong>Additional responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Help frame problems, facilitate workshops and lead focus group activities</li><li>Hold and facilitate user research activities and present findings back to team members</li></ul><strong>Your Skills and Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Strong portfolio showcasing projects worked on and the results of your work</li><li>Expert knowledge in the use of Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite</li><li>Experienced knowledge of User Experience, User Interface and User Research principles</li><li>Confident communicator with proven writing and visual communication skills</li><li>Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools to demonstrate your design approach</li><li>Good analytical skills</li><li>Understanding of Accessibility standards (W3C)</li><li>Experience working within an Agile team (SCRUM/KANBAN)</li></ul>This is a hybrid role with 2 days in the office per week.<br /><br /><em>Here at Futureheads, we encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know. Product Designer

Alex Cavanagh

<p>Alex is a Senior Consultant at Futureheads and has been involved in the area of product design throughout his entire recruitment career. He particularly enjoys working with hiring managers to uncover exact details of what they'd be looking for and efficiently resourcing for roles.</p>
<p>As part of the product design team, Alex works with tech companies across London and has had great success working with start-ups and fintech businesses.</p>
<p>Outside of work, Alex loves to see friends, visit a variety of pubs around London and travel to different countries. He's had brief spells living in Singapore and Barcelona and now finds himself in the east end of London in Hackney. Alex has also scored at Wembley!</p>
