<p>Futureheads are working closely with a Fintech client who are looking to hire a Lead Product Manager to join their API team. They are a leading credit and store card service, working with some of the world’s best retail brands.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The API team has an exciting 2023 ahead of them, with lots of growth and some innovative ideas in process that aren't happening elsewhere in the market right now. They have a fantastic product culture, with a strong collaborative environment and lots of opportunity to learn from other talented product managers – it’s a great environment for people who are passionate about Product!</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The Lead Product Manager will report into the Head of Product, and will lead a scrum team of developers, working closely with other Product Managers. You will craft the API Platform, building API services for internal and external customers. The Lead Product Manager will ensure that then team have the clarity to help then adapt and innovate, and ensure they are hitting a high standards.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> To apply for this role, it is not necessary that you have FinTech experience but you will need the following knowledge:</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Strong Product Management experience, with knowledge on how to lead teams.</li><li>Experience working on API products, with an understanding of back end systems.</li><li>Agile experience, and knowledge on how to run agile teams.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><em>Here at Futureheads, we encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know. Emily Massey

<p>Emily is a Principal Consultant, leading the Product &amp; Projects team, working across roles up to C-suite level. She has eight years of experience across a range of sectors and clients, helping clients to grow teams across both contract and permanent work.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Outside of work, Emily has a wide range of interests including going to gigs and the theatre, both reading and buying books (one day she will finish her ever-growing to-be-read pile) and is always looking for new podcast suggestions, especially if it&rsquo;s true crime, history, film or pop culture based.&nbsp;</p>
