I have partnered with a challenger consultancy, specifically working to help banks and Financial services businesses re-think their digital products and services for a modern audience.
The business has seen great success over the past few years and is optimistic moving into 2021 – they are currently designing and launching a number of new fintech start-ups for their clients and are looking for a Product Design Lead to join them.
The Product Design Lead is a key role within the consultancy and design process – you will possess all the ‘hands on’ design skills that make a great, end-to-end Product Designer whilst also demonstrating exceptional qualities when it comes to scoping new opportunities and working directly with Senior client (and internal) stakeholders to set-up new products for success.
You’ll have the opportunity to be both hands-on from a design perspective, especially when it comes to establishing Design-Direction for new products, as well as having the opportunity to mentor project teams of designers working alongside you. Outside of the Design team, the business have Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams all internally that you will be working closely alongside.
The right candidate for this position is likely to demonstrate the following:
- A beautifully crafted portfolio of customer-facing Digital Products and Services
- Experience working within a product agency or consultancy environment
- A broad skill set spanning UX, Interaction Design, and Visual Design
- Bonus: Defining Brand / Design languages for new products
The business care deeply about the well-being of their team, and are especially mindful of this through the COVID-19 Pandemic – As such, all staff are likely to be working fully remotely for the foreseeable future, with an optional return to the office for anyone who wants this when it is safe to do so.
