We are working exclusively with a global tech-for-good platform who are hiring for a Digital Programme Manager. The business has been established for over ten years, with offices across the globe. The Digital Programme Manager will be joining a newly formed team, which was built to support for further digital solutions and services for their clients. The Digital Programme Manager will be a key component in helping to shape this team, leading them to build innovative solutions.

The department are dedicated to creating innovative products and are passionate about making a positive social impact – which is also a quality the right person for this role will have.
The Digital Programme Manager will be leading cross-functional team of 4-5 people, including a Solutions Engineer, Developers, a Project Manager and a Project Coordinator, and more as the team grows. They will have line management responsibilities, and a key objective over the first year of the role will be to help coach this team into a solid working practice, helping to nurture a positive working culture, and enabling them to produce outstanding products.
Another key element of this role is that the Digital Programme Manager will be client facing. Alongside acting as the escalation point, they will also support the sales team to help facilitate the requirements, helping them to come up with solutions for the customers and flesh out the state of work. In addition, you will need to be commercially savvy and help to put together some revenue objectives around this, so it will be beneficial if you have done that before.
This role will be great for a Digital Programme Manager with a hybrid skillset, who is comfortable working with ambiguity, and being solutions driven. Ideally, the line manager would like you to have come from an agency background and be used to working closely with clients and managing expectations.
In addition, they will be looking for:
- Demonstratable experience of managing and coaching a team, ideally for 2-3 years.
- A thorough knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean/Kanban.
- Be able to work to revenue targets and manage these business revenue lines.
- An understanding of how to work closely with sales teams, to help put together solutions.
- Be persuasive, and able to lead teams without micro-managing or being too direct.
