Futureheads have partnered exclusively with an independent, innovative agency who specialise in brand, experience and technology solutions. Their HQ is in Bristol, and over the past year they have established a thriving delivery team in London, fostering a friendly and encouraging culture. This team is rapidly expanding, and their next key hire is a Client Partner.

The current team is cross-functional consisting of UX, Design and Development, as well as a Delivery Lead. Alongside the Delivery Lead, the Client Partner will help to grow and shape that team further, alongside strategically developing key accounts.

The Role

The Client Partner will be a multi-faceted role with responsibilities that include growing client relationships, hitting agreed revenue targets, mentoring and developing the team, and spotting new business opportunities within their clients.

The Client Partner will be responsible for successfully maintaining and growing a client portfolio. They will be the strategic lead for these accounts, as well as overseeing the account growth, and managing the relationship. As a trusted partner, you will be able to identify client needs, and work with external and internal stakeholders to define and build innovative solutions. While onsite with clients, you will be the business expert, building and cultivating relationships to ensure that together, you are able to deliver impactful work.

The Client Partner will create new opportunities for the agency as well, while expanding contacts with key senior clients and maintaining relationships post-engagement. While creating new opportunities, you will also be striving to achieve stretch targets and developing new revenue streams.

As the team grows, the Client Partner will also help to create and identify a strategic plan to grow the London team, while leading and mentoring Delivery and Account Managers. This will involve providing guidance to the team and setting objectives and plans to enable them to achieve their own goals.

The business development function is separate to the delivery team, but the Client Partner will still participate in strategic development of new business, through either identification, pursuit or conversion.

Experience Needed

To apply for this role, the Client Partner will need the following skills:

  • Extensive experience in a client services organisation, preferably on accounts within an agency or a consulting firm.
  • An understanding of digital, and technology, and you must have worked on design and build projects, not just campaign-based work.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts and maintain multi-million pound engagements.
  • Knowledge of how to manage multiple stakeholders at once, both internally and externally, and how to align consumer and business goals.
  • Be able build, manage and mentor a team.
