Futureheads are looking to support the growth of a start-up evolving the world of well-being. Through the creation of a native app that connects to a wearable device, they have applied research in psychology and neuroscience that can improve people’s lives through the science of emotion.

This endeavour started out as a University Masters research project but has grown significantly through an initial kick-starter into full fledged funding. The team of seven are now looking to continue their progression by adding a talented Android Developer.

The codebase has been built from scratch, so you will have the chance to work closely with the CTO and CPO in prototyping and developing new user driven improvements in line with R&D plans. With this in mind it is important we find someone who is comfortable in a small, multi-disciplinary team and has the confidence to communicate with a variety of individuals from different backgrounds.

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to display the following:

  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining new features for native mobile apps that are customer focused.
  • Fluent in Java/Kotlin developing for Android
  • Write clean, modularised and testable code
  • Curiosity for new ideas and opportunities

An interest and previous experience IoT, hardware, wireless communications systems, BLE or similar would be extremely desirable.
