I am working with a Fintech business that have recently had heavy investment and now growing their portfolio of products. In the past year they have made a number of acquisitions which has given them a new direction in terms of moving into new markets. This has presented plenty of new opportunities and with this there is plenty of work within the marketing team and furthermore within Products resulting in UX copy.
The role will sit within their marketing team who act like an agency for the wider business. This role will be a blend of marketing and UX copywriting with a definite leaning to the latter. The team has a part-time copywriter however the requirements are coming thick and fast resulting in the need for extra pair of hands.
You will be working closely with the various stakeholders which include product owners, head of UX and design, Chief product officer and other c-suite. So you will need good comms and the ability to manage multiple projects, managing pressing deadlines and being ability to switch between UX/Tech copy to marketing comms.
They have a clear roadmap which should cover 70% of your time with room for plenty of ad hoc projects. At the moment you will be working on the various products looking at UX copy to support the various actions and user journeys. However, you will be required to create marketing comms for websites, emails, brochure and presentations.
Finally, the client base are both B2C and B2B however working within tech businesses focusing on B2C will be the preference as they are not a corporate nor do they want the tone of voice to be corporate.
