I am working with a global design consultancy who work on innovation, design and optimisation for their clients, and are seeking a Senior Service Designer to help them deliver on products, services and experiences.

Their clients range from tech giants and high street banks, to public services, automotive companies, retailers and beyond. Their outputs are as broad as their client base.

As a Senior Service Designer you will take the lead on client engagements with support from the Principal Consultant and Practice Director. This is a primarily hands on role as you lead a small team delivering high quality insight and design to your clients, directing and inspiring them with presentations, workshops and close contact.

One of the best things about this role is that you will also begin to touch upon aspects of Leading and management, allowing you to develop these skills to be able to grow organically into a Lead / Principal role.

You will support the Practice Director in recruiting new members of your team, oversee tasks assigned to consultants and line manage one or two Junior to mid-weight Consultants. You will not need to work on business development, but you will be trained to see where there are opportunities for up-selling and on-selling, before passing these opportunities on to Client Services.

They are a global company, with offices in London, Dubai, Madrid and Paris and clients all over the world so they are looking for someone who does have a willingness to travel every now and again.

All in all this is a great opportunity to develop the skills needed to progress from a Senior to Lead, doing so at an innovative and interesting design consultancy delivering large, actionable Service Design projects to a wide range of clients.
