Futureheads have partnered with a leading UK charity organisation to find an experienced Digital Manager that will play an integral role in implementing a new digital strategy. Its an exciting time for this company, they are currently transforming to achieve companywide digital excellence.

A strong, cogent strategy is imperative to achieve this; and that's where you come in. As Digital Manager, you will be the charity's lead for all major digital delivery, driving efficiency across all parameters of their operations, including: key operational/service delivery, fundraising, customer service, campaigning and influence work. Leading a digital team comprised of 5 people, you'll be working towards improving engagement across all digital channels and aiding in transforming the organisation to be a key player in the digital age.

Digital Manager responsibilities:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing to drive the on-going development and delivery of a stringent digital strategy and transformation programme
  • To champion digital across the organisation
  • Motivate and develop skills in the digital team to help drive ambition, innovation and critical thinking in their delivery
  • To support the IT team on the implementation of a new IT strategy and ensure that it continues to intertwine with the Digital Strategy
  • Provide strategic advice and support on cross-organisational tech projects, such as their new CRM project
  • Manage external agencies, partners and freelancers as appropriate
  • Manage opportunities for income generation particularly through effective fundraising and the online shop

Ideal Digital Manager will have:

  • Ability to build constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to resolve complex situations and deal sensitively with differences of opinion
  • Excellent project management skills- suitable for managing large and complex projects
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Experience leading the development and delivery of large-scale and complex website redevelopments
